Machinery MaintenanceAll the machines have a number assigned to them upon purchase which stays with the machine for life. We firstly compile a comprehensive machine register (eg serial numbers and major component numbers as well as filter lists) to assist with the ease of servicing. A service schedule is tailored based on the machine’s hand book and altered to suit its working conditions (mainly shortening intervals). All machines can have their service history located quickly and all required information for the next service can be easily determined. The company is also moving to remote monitoring of machines via the use of a tablet which allows a supervisor to know where the machine. If the machine moves from an area a message is sent to the supervisor. This can reduce the chance of theft and assist with managing machine fuel requirements. We currently have three machines with this ability.
